Privacy policy

This policy explains how the Moolah app stores your data and connects to third-party services. Moolah does not sell your data or use it for advertising or tracking.

Data stored by Moolah

The information you enter or import is stored in local app data on your device. When optional iCloud sync is active, Moolah also stores your profile data in your iCloud account. API keys and account tokens are stored separately in Keychain and may sync through iCloud Keychain. Moolah does not operate an account service or server that receives a copy of your financial data.

Automatic price updates

Moolah refreshes public market and asset information from pricing services while you use the app. These requests identify the assets and currencies needed to provide prices.

Services you choose to connect

Optional iCloud sync sends your profile data to your iCloud account. If you configure wallet or exchange sync, Moolah sends the relevant wallet address, account identifier, authentication details, and transaction identifiers directly from your device to the provider. Moolah supplies only the information needed for the feature.

Each service processes the information it receives under its own privacy policy and terms. Moolah does not ask these services to use your information for advertising or tracking.

Your choices

You can turn off iCloud sync or remove a configured wallet or exchange account at any time. Public market and asset information may refresh automatically while you use Moolah.

Moolah keeps local profile data until you delete the profile. Deleting a profile removes its local data and requests deletion of its synced CloudKit data. Data in Application Support, iCloud, or Keychain may remain after deleting a profile or the app and is managed through the controls provided by your device and account providers. Information held by a third-party service is retained and deleted under that service's policy and account controls.

Changes to this policy

If Moolah's data practices change, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
